One of the notable eco practices at QUBA Solutions is the use of eco friendly sundries and cleaning materials. For example, we only use Who Gives A Crap toilet paper. This product is made from recycled materials or bamboo, reducing the need for virgin paper and the associated deforestation. Moreover, 50% of the profits from Who Gives A Crap are donated to improve sanitation in developing countries, providing both environmental and social benefits. Cycling is a zero-emission mode of transport, and by incentivizing it, QUBA Solutions contributes to the reduction of urban air pollution and traffic congestion.

In a bid to minimise paper consumption, QUBA Solutions prioritises digital over print in its operations. By moving towards a paperless office environment, the company significantly reduces its demand for paper, thus supporting forest conservation efforts. When printing is necessary, QUBA Solutions uses Woodland Trust paper, which is sourced from sustainably managed forests. This practice not only conserves trees but also reduces the environmental impact associated with paper production and disposal.

A few years ago we made the switch to eco friendly energy suppliers in our Southampton and Poundbury offices. This means that all our electricity in these spaces is provided from 100% renewable sources: hydro farms and wind farms. The green electricity is backed by Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs), with independent verification by EcoAct. Similarly, any gas (used in heating) is carbon offset.
